All Legal and Fun

r06au15g02cYeah, this sounds like a riot of laughs:

An 8-year-old boy died after accidentally shooting himself in the head while firing an Uzi submachine gun under adult supervision at a gun fair.

Couple of quick WTFs: why are these retarded events still allowed? I mean, seriously: a gun show? That’s just all kinds of wrong right there. And, secondly, what kind of warped parent thinks it’s right for an 8-year old to fire a submachine gun? According to the story, some parent signed a waiver to let this happen.

That’s really a glowing case of epic fail right there.

Denial, much? In a follow-up, The Republican of Western Mass asked a great question and got a lame answer from the local DA:

Asked to comment on the advisability of an 8-year-old shooting an automatic weapon, Bennett said, “Once we have more information on what happened and how it happened, we’ll be in a position to make public statements (on the incident).”
