Nice. While we’re busy going broke here in Vermont, our Chief Dochebag Douglas is busy embarrassing himself some more on our behalf. Apparently, providing jobs to rejected Blackwater mercenaries to carry out “citizen’s arrests” under the guise of “protecting” state property is his idea of money well spent.
The always awesome crowd over at Green Mountain Daily points out that it flies in the face of Vermont’s Constitution (clearly written at a time where wiser men that the Douglas/Dubie Dynamic Duo of Fail were in charge), and the rest of us are left to wonder how much further down this slippery slope we’re going to slide before “We, The People” realize how many of our freedoms we’ve given up for so very, very little.
