Congratulations to Manchester, NH Fire Chief Dan Goonan on his retirement after 36 years. I was fortunate to spend a day with this remarkable man a few years ago working on a story for Geisel Medicine on the opioid crisis, covering the compassionate and succesful Safe Station program he spearheaded.
