Corporate Lite Already

From the Department of Too Little Too Late:

Last night at Netroots Nation, former Sen. Russ Feingold warned the Democratic Party that it is in danger of losing its soul “if it accepts corporate contributions in 2012.” If Democrats play by the Republicans’ rules, he said, “People will see us as weak. People will see us as Corporate Lite.”

No, Russ, that’s not a danger. It’s a reality. People won’t see you as weak if x y and z… they already see the Democrats as weak, impotent sell-outs who are just worse as playing the cash-for-service game than the Republicans they increasingly act and sound like.
