You gotta love this: House D’s are tweaking Obama’s massive budget. $100B cut — isn’t that nice. Notice, though, that this is all cut from “non-defense spending.” It’s like we live in a world where nobody can or should be spared suffering… except the Pentagon. So, the poor, the huddled masses get shafted as usual, progressive initatives like finding alternative energy sources and cleaning up years of neglect get dismissed, health care cut — but the bombs, ah, the bombs, they keep on coming.
