Still a weird fucking way to develop stuff, but it’s certainly better than leaving the barren tracts of land currently devoted to shopping n’ parking… Would this model work for our local eye-sore on Rt. 12A in West Lebanon, NH? If a couple of the big box shops go under in the recession there could be some primo real estate w/ a river view to develop. Given the fact that the local powers that be gladly let things get as out of hand as they are now, I doubt they’d have the vision to make something like that happen — but, hey, times they are a’changin’, right? Right?
