Desperate times call for desperate measures and all that. We had our newfound bestest friends in all of Africa, the O’Callahan’s, over for dinner last night, and the pile o’ kids wanted to watch a movie. Since we forgot to bring the 67” flat screen, they’re having to make due with a 17” laptop. I know, I know — those poor, deprived children. It’s a bit of a stretch to share that six ways, but it sorta worked, and the Pegg/Freeman classic Hot Fuzz was a huge hit as always.
We also took the opporrtunity to confirm that it’s quite possible to cook and serve dinner for nine people in a house barely equipped for four – as long as you are willing to cut lots of corners and improvise.
